Citizenship by Investment

Citizenship by residence

To apply for citizenship by residence it is required that you live within the Federation for 14 years legally.

Citizenship by Registration

When applying for Citizenship by Registration this should be done for a minor 18 years or under parents who became citizens by marriage, residence or investment.

Citizenship by Descent

Citizenship by Descent is acquired if the parents or grandparents of the applicant were born in the Federation St. Kitts and Nevis. Please see official link below for the Citizen by descent Form:

Citizenship by marriage

Citizenship by marriage is any person who is married to a citizen of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Please see link below regarding the Application form for Marriage Citizenship.

Eligibility for a Saint Kitts and Nevis Passport

It is necessary to first apply for a citizenship certificate; normally this would be citizenship by descent or citizenship by marriage. This process can take up to six (6) months. Having received your certificate of citizenship, you would then be eligible to apply for a passport of St. Kitts and Nevis.
